first rally
Scarborough '82 on the train. Slept under a table on a seafront café floor. Don’t recall having a right lot of money. Mum thought my mate Rob and I were staying at each others houses. I still haven’t told her!

Great Yarmouth several times during the 80’s as the local council used to encourage us and most of us moderated our behaviour accordingly. Saw Edwin Starr there and a hot skinhead bird opened her sheepskin coat to show me her lovely hooters in exchange for a chip. Didn’t much care for the way we were treated by Skegness Council and the local babylon during that period (and I am well placed to have an opinion on that!!)

Vespa PX150 promptly kitted to 175 with red Fresco pipe and mum informed that it had been kitted to 125 (how did they ever sell those kits!?)

Vespa P200E, Vespa GS and do have a secret yearning for a lammy one day but would prefer one that doesn’t require a permanent AA/RAC mechanic in the sidecar
